Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report we propose a model that organizes arbitrary figures. To extract boundaries for segregating figures, symmetric and antisymmetric filters are required. Furthermore filters with various spatial frequency tunings are required to segregating spatial pattern. These filters are supported by psychophysics and physiological experience. In our model these filters process input signals in parallel and arbitrary figures are flexibly and uniquely formed by integration outputs from filters. We show it can correspond to figures including illusory contours.
