Estimation of Acoustic Parameter Values on ECM

Abstract(in English) There is a theoretical expression for calculating acoustic parameters of Electric Condenser Microphone(ECM), however, the both calculated sensitivity and phase characteristic by calculated acoustic parameter value differ from observed value. There is a method to estimate acoustic parameter values by optimization algorithm, and then to estimate sensitivity characteristics, without phase characteristics. We are studying a method for estimating anival direction of noise sources by the Multiple Signal Classification (MUSIC) method with ECM array, so we have to estimate acoustic parameter values that contain sensitivity characteristics and phase characteristics we need. This paper describes that we estimate acoustic parameter values that contain both sensitivity and phase characteristics by Genetic Algorithm. And the results, we can estimate acoustic parameters of acoustic equivalent circuit. The error between estimated value and the target value is 1.3[dB] on the sensitivity characteristics and 0.047[rad] on the phase characteristics in 2[kHz], and it is 0.2[dB] on the sensitivity characteristics and 0.041[rad] on the phase characteristics in 3[kHz].
