Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For most of the blind separation methods of convolutive mixing acoustic signals, the parameters of unmixing filter are derived in frequency domain. This brings to a seldom mentioned but important problem that normally there exists partial correlation in a certain degree between the frequency representations of original sources nearly at each bin. The partial correlation sometimes is too high to be neglected and consequently makes the performance of all the BSS methods efficiency down in various degrees. In this paper, we propose a recursive TDD-based blind separation method based on the method proposed by S.Ikeda and N.Murata [1]. The bin mixtures are separated into the components of the sources at the most instead of the "independent" bins as achieved by the conventional method. The signal-to-noise ratio is greatly increased at certain bins, which results in a much better separation.
