Abstract(in English) This paper describes a simplified method for detecting an objective signal embedded in wind-induced noise from contrastive two viewpoints. As the first method, the sound pressure level (SPL) is first estimated in a form of linear and/or non-linear model with wind speed excitations. Then, the noisy observation is subtracted in an energy scale by the estimated wind noise. To overcome a problem that the estimated values become negative in the previous report, Least Mean Squares Method with constraint is introduced. The MA model, artificial networks and their combination are adopted as a linear and/or non-linear system. As the second method, the wind-induced noise is estimated and the objective signal is detected, using a linear filter for noisy observations in a sound pressure scale. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is experimentally confirmed by applying it to the actually observed data.
