Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An earplug type earphone can produce the sound pressure in a small cavity, which is enclosed by the earplug and listener's eardrum. In this report, it was studied about the mechanism of its earphone using the finite element method (FEM). The FEM is useful to analyze its model which cannot be analyzed using the equivalent circuit. The simulation shows that a propagation bar made of cork improves the frequency response up to higher domain. Therefore, the new earplug type earphone used cork bar was experimentally studied. Consequently, the frequency response of its earphone was the same as the results of simulation. These results suggest that the analysis using the FEM is effective.
