Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, on the pitch perception of the sound of mokugyo, the relation between the simulation using a group of band-pass filters corresponding to the critical band width and the results of psychological evaluation was discussed. From the previous paper, it was found that a sound of mokugyo has two close peaks of spectra. Therefore, we focus on the relation between the pitch of the mokugyo sound and the difference of amplitude level between the two spectra. From the result of the simulation, it can be found that the amplitude difference of only 2~3dB makes pitch perception lean toward one side peak of the spectrum. Furthermore, the psychological evaluation on the pitch perception of synthetic mokugyo sounds was carried out. From the results, it can be found that the both results are almost corresponding.
