Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to design audio communication conference systems, it is important to understand room acoustics field characteristics and acoustics characteristics of hearing point of listener. Measurements of these characteristics are used an artificial head with torso (in this paper, we call a head and torso simulator, HATS). A head and a torso of the HATS are modeled by spheres previously. In this report, we measure the difference of output signals between HATS sliced off pinna and closed external ear canal. This difference means transmission characteristics of external ear canal. We are calculated 2 spheres model and compared with measured values, this difference agrees very well by the between calculated and measured values.
