| Abstract(in English) | We have consistently engaged in administrative noise control in local governments since 1966, through dealing with resident complaints about noise, permitting of operating in factories and business offices in accordance with Noise Regulation Law and pollution control ordinances, enacting pollution control ordinances, measuring and evaluating environmental noise, investigations of noise control, examinations of environmental impact assessment and so forth. With the above experience, in this present work we report the transition of autonomous administrative noise control that the change of regulation is based on resident complaints at all times. And we also report one example of studying how to develop administrative noise control in the future, including methods to measure and evaluate noise on the spot. |
