Abstract(in English) Rating words representing psychological effects caused by noise are different from culture or region. Therefore, it can be said that it needs to compose a noise-rating scale from high frequently rating words. On the other hand, it can be said that a hue scale, which corresponds to the degree of psychological effects caused by noise, has a little influence of culture or region. However, it is necessary to verify whether the hue scale composed in Japan is internationally effective or not. In this paper, to collect psychological effects (rating-words and hue) caused by road traffic noise, the questionnaire system using WWW was constructed.
