Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this research is to construct the impulse response measurement system using commercial audio devices. When an impulse response is measured by M-squence correlation method, in order to raise accuracy, synchronous sampling and/or synchronous addition are required. However, since each commercial audio device operates according to the independent internal clock, even if devices of the same sample rate (nominal value) were used, perfect synchronous sampling is impossible. This report shows how to solve, this problem by adding an easy circuit. And, in order to check the measurement accuracy, the impulse response and the transmission characteristic of the system itself were measured. Furthermore, transmission characteristics of two actual rooms were measured using the proposed system, and were compared with the measurement results by the frequency sweep method. Consequently, it was checked that the proposed system has sufficient accuracy for practical use.
