Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to discuss the head related transfer function(HRTF) of the dummy head(HATS), an influence of and external ear canals of the dumy head are investigated experimentally. The influence of pinna is measured by the difference of HRTF between with pinna and without pinna. The influence of external ear canals is measured by the difference of HRTF between without pinna and closed ear canal. As a result, pinna collects a sound over 1 kHz, for example, in the case of direct incidence, 10 dB up in the range of 6 kHz. Frequency characteristics of ear canal are shown -5~-10dB down in the low frequency range, peak in the 2~4kHz, and decreasing over 4kHz. And measured values of closed ear canal compare with calculated values of 2 spheres model.
