Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report shows the method for improving the quality of speech under the noisy environment using time variable partial spectral parameters and analysis-synthesis system. Former reports show that the spectral subtraction and the recovery of valleys in spectral envelope are effective for the improvement of the recognition results under the noisy environment. However, these methods are not enough in case that environment is poor. And the rules of adding the valleys for polluted spectral envelopes make some mistakes and the reason of the mistakes is not proved. In this report, the spectral parameters for noisy digits recognition is used for enhancement of speech Homomorphic analysis-synthesis sysem is used for this enhancement, Preference test is performed and the results are compared with recognition result to evaluate the performance of the noisy digits recognition system.
