Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It has been known that noise levels nearby tunnel entrance of a road are often higher than the ones for open roads site. In this paper, a model to explain the mechanism of this effect caused by tunnel exists has been proposed. We have also examined a unit pattern of noise level around tunnel due to a moving source. As a result, it has been found that noise level increase in the vicinity of tunnel entrance can be given by tunnel dimension and mean sound absorption coefficient of wall surface inside tunnel. An area influenced by effect of tunnel was calculated and shown around entrance.
