Abstract(in English) In this paper, we study the frequency response of headphones and earphones, whose ideal characteristic is unknown.It is said that one of the ideal characteristics in loudspeaker systems is the frequency characteristic without linear distortion.We have supposed that the head related transfer function of the dummy head was ideal frequency in headphone and earphone systems based on the ideal frequency characteristic in loudspeaker systems, and have examined the acoustic quality through listening test.We could not, however, decide that the head related transfer function would become the target response of headphones and earphones because the head related transfer function of the dummy head differs from that of human being and he or she actually listens to music.We therefore measure the head related transfer functions of each listener which actually takes the listening test and examine the effectiveness of the personal head related transfer function as the target response of headphones and earphones through the listening test.
