Abstract(in English) | This paper surveys,the sound synthesis technology,which is one of the main topics in computer music study.The sound synthesis models reforred to here are the additive sinusoidal and phase vocoder as a signal model,FM synthesis and wave shaping models as non-linear transformation and physical models.Various types of classification from different viewpoints,including "creative synth esis" newly defined here,allow us to easily understand the features of each synthesis model.Moreover,computer application systems for sound synthesis are introduced,including our new system "O^t kinshi". |
