Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper begins with the question, the auditory system of humans is phase-deaf, and introduces experimental results denying the hypothesis, on perception of phase variation that is one of time-related information. Additionally, this paper refers to some models to explain relations between perception of phase variation and perception of timbre. Moreover, the paper points out remained problems when measuring human perception ability of phase variation and reports experimental results the authors performed.
