Estimation of Focus Position of Concave Transducer Using Microphone Array

Abstract(in English) The researches for estimation of direction of arrival and source position of sound in audible field are studied widely. However, signal processing for these estimation is scarce in ultrasonic field. For estimation of structure aimed to diagnosis structural change of the part of disease disturbance and to clarify role of living tissue, we pay attention to the ultrasonic diffraction method. We ovserve the diffracted waves by tissue at focus position of the transducer in this method. Then it is important to find an accurate focus in order to estimate structure in high precision. In order to estimate position of focus, we suggest to use a microphone array.
