Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we have compared and examined the attenuation effect of the active noise control by an analog and a digital method with a new earplug-type electroacoustic transducer. This transducer is composed of the microphone system which can measure the SPL in a small cavity enclosed by an earplug and eardrum, and the structure of piezoelectric diaphragm adhered to the earplug which can drive the small cavity directly. From the experimental results, the attenuation effect by the analog control using the phase shifter combined with the effect of earplug is about 50dB in the frequency range from 100Hz to 2kHz. The attenuation effect by the adaptive digital control is about 45dB in the range of the frequency above, and its effect does not depend on the installation condition.
