A Study on the Relationship between Identification and Inverse Estimation on Adaptive Filtering

Abstract(in English) We are studying on how to identify the individual acoustical inverse transfer functions of listener in real time by using an adaptive filtering. Afin Projection Algorithm for identification have been applied to the colored input. However, this algorithm for inverse filtering has sometimes divergence problems. In this paper, we introduce the differential signals when the adaptive inverse filtering is considred as an adaptive identification, and it is verified that the differential sibnal cause the divergence. Then, we adopt the block method and limit the relaxiation factor, in order to eliminate the effect of the differential signals. Finally it is shown that values of the block length and the relaxation factor are valid by the computer simulation.
