Optimization of Control Source Configuration in the Active Sound Control System Using Gram-Schmidt Orthogonalization

Abstract(in English) In the active sound control system, the configuration of the control sources is an improtant parameter that greatly affects the performance of the system. In this paper, the configuration and the number of sources are determined one by one by using the Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization so that the transfer impedance vectors for the sources have the highest linear independency. From the results of the simulation, the selected configuration not only showed a good performance but also had the coefficient matrix in the control equation with small condition number. By selecting the configuration with small condition number, the system becomes robust to the small fluctuation of the environment.
