Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, speech enhancement based on the STSA (short-time spectral amplitude) estimation combined with the 2-channel beamformer is proposed. In the conventional STSA estimation, the average spectral amplitude of noise has been used to estimate the STSA of the target signal. However, when using the average spectral amplitude of noise, the system is vulnerable to the change of the character of noise. Moreover, the performance of the estimation of the STSA of the target signal is unsatisfactory. The method proposed in this paper estimates the STSA of noise using the 2-channel beamformer and the results are used for the estimation of the target spectral amplitude. A simulation was conducted to verify the effectiveness of the method.
