Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report describes expansion of the 1)higher range and 2) lower range of the frequency response of the piezoelectric sensor accompanying widening of its bandwidth. The diaphragm type acceleration sensor was selected as an example of expansion of the higher range.Since the mechanical impedance of the diaphragm is comparatively low.,the resonant frequency was raised without lowering the sensitivity over the entire bandwidth by combining it with two acoustic circuits.A power ratio improvement of 13 times that of existing products was achieved.Conversely, the piezoelectric ceramic type microphone was selected as an example of lower range expansion. When selecting the lower range limit frequency, the mechanical, acoustical, and electricalsystems constituting it must be studied. If these are designed carefully, obtaining a flat frequency response down to 1Hz is not that difficult. The problems regarding these were clarified.
