Abstract(in English) | The peak frequency of motional impedance of oval cone loudspeakers is linearly related to the mass of the cone on the log-log plane,and the exponent takes the volues of 0 to 0.5.This paper observes the vibration modes of the cone at those peak frequencies to classify them according to the exponents.The cone whose radius ratio is 4:1 shows the extentions of contours of pressure as follows.If the exponent equals to 0,the contours extend in the direction of the shorter axis,and if it dose not equal to 0,the contours extend in the direction of the longer axis. On the other hand,the cone whose radius ratio is 2:1 shows that the contours of pressure extend more as the exponent increases. |
