| Abstract(in English) | In this paper,we considered the use of adaptive notch filters to suppress howling in hearing aids.Simulation results showed that creating a notch for each howling frequency can suppress howling. However,the phase response of the notch filter inserted modifies the phase response of the open-loop characteristics causing extra 0-phase points near the original howling frequency.It was then shown that proper choice of the notch filter parameters-could help alleviate this problem. |
