Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we investigate the evaluation method of vowel pronunciation for pronunciation training system of English phone. We use cepstrum coefficients as features of pronounced phone and use the distance between template features and features of pronounced phone for the evaluation of pronunciation. Therefore we investigate the method of the adaptive elimination of gross spectral slope and the compression method of high frequency domain in spectrum, namely to use mel-cepstrum coefficients, for emphasis of phone features. We also propose the speaker adaptation method in order to obtain the distance and investigate the effectiveness. We consequently show that there are the suitable method for emphasis of phone features and the suitable speaker adaptation method for the individual English phone. |
