Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The zero cepstrum coefficients are obtained from the zero parameter in pole-zero analysis of speech. In this paper, we investigate the effectiveness to use the basic feature vector contained the zero cepstrum coefficients in the voiced consonant recognition. Four basic feature vectors are investigated. The results of recognition show that the basic feature vector consisted of the pole-zero cepstrum coefficients and the zero cepstrum coefficients is more useful than that consisted of the pole-zero cepstrum coefficients from the pole-zero spectrum. The results also show that the vector consisted partly of the zero cepstrum coefficients is more useful for the recognition of any voiced consonant and is more useful for the recognition of any voiced consonant of most speakers than that consisted of LPC cepstrum coefficients in all pole analysis of speech.
