| 抄録(和) | 複合音中に存在する、オクターブ成分の担う役割について実験を行った。オクターブの音程関係にある音はトーンクロマが等しく、等価てあるとみなされている。今回、2つの実験を行った。実験内容は、様々な周波数成分構成を持つ調和性複合音(刺激音)の中の純音(参照音)を被験者か聞き出せるかどうかを評価することてあった。実験1では完全5度成分、長3度成分および基本波のオクターブ成分を参照音とし、完全5度成分または長3度成分のいずれかが欠如した調和性複合音を刺激音として用いた。実験2では参照音として完全5度成分および長3度成分を用い、刺激音として基本波のオクターブ成分が欠如した調和性複合音を用いた。これらの実験から得られた主な結果は次のようなものであった。1)基本波のオクターブ成分が他の成分をマスクしているような効果か見いだされた。2)基本波のオクターブ成分か存在していないときに高次の周波数成分かよく間き出せるという結果が得られた。これはlow pitchとの混同、あるいは複合音内の成分の相互作用によって生じる結合音の影響であると思われる。3)オクターブ上の成分があるとき、その成分が聞き出しやすくなるという結果が得られた。これはオクターブ成分どうしの差音が低い方の成分を強調するためと考えられる。 |
| 抄録(英) | We have examined about the role of octave component in a complex tone. Two components with interval of an octave are known to locate on the same tone chroma and they are perceived to be equivalent. Here, we had runs of two experiments. The task of subjects was to make a decision whether a pure tone (probe) can be heard out from the harmonic complexes (stimuli). In the first experiment, components with intervals of the perfect fifth, the major third and the octave of the fundamental frequency are used as the probes, while harmonic complexes missing component of either perfect third or major fifth are used as the stimuli. In the second experiment, the perfect fifth and major third are used as the probes, and the harmonic complexes missing octaves as the stimuli. Results are as follows: 1) The octave component of fundamental frequency looks to mask the other components. 2) If octave components are missing, components in higher frequency are heard out seemingly better. 3) A component in the complexes comprising upper octave ones inclines to be heard out well. |
