Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The high speed sound propagation analysis method is required in the reconstruction of Ocean Acoustic Tomography. The most familiar analysis method is the Parabolic Equation method in the range-independent problem. When sound speed profile changes with transmission distance, the accuracy of PE method decreases. The wide angle approximation method based on Pade series is proposed in this paper. Accuracy and computing time of calculations are described under range-dependent conditions. In order to confirm the validity of the method, we simulated the sound propagation models in the deep ocean.
