Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The problem of enhancing speech signals listened to under noisy circumstances is similar to that dealt with by blind deconvolution, which estimates characteristics of transmission system without any training signals in the sense that emitted signals cannot be known by recievers at all. In this report, a speech enhancement technique using the idea of the blind deconvolution, i.e. Bussgang algorithm is proposed. In speech enhancement problems, transmission system from the emitter to a receiver is expressed not as a convolution process in the time domain but as an addition process of noise. Taking this into account, the signal and the interfering noise should be expressed as the state-space model. Thus, we propose to realize noise suppression by Kalman filter.
