Abstract(in English) The present report aims at providing a formula for estimating L_α of traffic noise in finite-length road accurateley. The formula is derived from the reasonable model which consists of a point sound source and one or two line sources with varying the density along the road and approximates the exponential distributed vehicle model. The density of the line source is represented by a suitable function on a typical arrangement of vehicles' position on the road when L_α is observed. This formula was compared with other formulas having same purpose on accuracy. As a results, it was known that this formula is especially useful when α is small.
