Distributed and Cooperative Processing Based on a KQML-CORBA Architecture

Abstract(in English) Cooperative agents provide a novel framework for building distributed applications such as workflow and mediator. The model is the support for sophisticated coordination and close cooperation among different agents working together towards accomplishing a specified task. In this paper, we discuss on (1)cooperative agents model based on concepts of active objects, (2)Events-Conditions-Actions rules function for facilitating the coordination and interaction among agents, and(3)Agent Based extended transaction. The implementation environment consists of Java, KQML-CORBA, XML-CORBA-RDB etc..
