| 抄録(和) | インターネット上では多くの電子文書やデータがXML形式で流通されるようになりつつある.このような状況において, XML文書の更新の履歴が利用できれば, 多くの応用で有効であると考えられる.本稿ではこの目的のために, XML文書のバイテンポラル(bitemporal)データモデルを提案する.これはXPathデータモデルに基づいており, 有効時間, トランザクション時間によってXML文書の更新履歴を表現することができる.さらに, このモデルに基づいた時制XML文書リポジトリの構築方法を二つ提案する.一つめの手法はXRelを用いるもので, 既存の(時制)関係データベース上に時制XML文書リポジトリを構築することができる.XRelは任意の整形式のXML文書を, 要素, 属性, テキスト, 経路式に基づいて分割して関係表に格納する手法であり, この関係スキーマに時制を導入することによって時間を表現する.二つめの方法は, バイテンポラルデータモデルにおける文書インスタンスを整形式のXML文書に直列化して, 通常のXML文書リポジトリに格納する手法である.さらに, 時制XMLの検索処理についても議論する. |
| 抄録(英) | A large quantity of electronic documents are now circulated in the form of XML over the Internet. In such a situation, capturing complete histories of XML documents is quite useful for many applications. In this paper, we propose a bitemporal data model for XML documents, which is an extension of XPath data model. XML repositories supporting storage and retrieval of histories of XML documents according to valid and transaction times could be realized in terms of the data model. Then, we give two methods to realize temporal XML databases based on that model. One is to construct such XML databases on top of(temporal)relational databases. The methodology is based on the scheme called XRel. In XRel, XML documents are decomposed into elements, attributes, texts, and their path expressions, then stored into four relational tables. We give a bitemporal extension of the XRel schema for the storage of document histories based on our model. The other is to use serialization and store the results in conventional XML databases. Query retrieval of temporal XML documents is also discussed. |
