Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we propose an information integration system for web search. The proposed system consista of a meta-search engine module and a clustering module. The eight conventional web search engines are combined for the meta-search engine module. The web information on WWW is collected by using this meta-search engine module. In the clustering module, the collected information is classified into some clusters on the basis of the web contents. The user can easily obtain the required information on WWW by using the proposed system. Moreover, we confirm the effectiveness of the proposed system through a computational experiment. The experimental results revealed that the effective information collection can be performed by using the proposed system. |
