Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Integrating heterogeneous statistical data is an important issue in the widearea network where multiple statistical databases are connected. It is difficult to integrate these statistical data, because the they are created from various viewpoints of database creators. In this paper, we present a new method for realizing global integration of statistical databases in multidatabase environment with functions for managing semantic heterogeneity. We show an implementation of our system and several experimental results to clarify the feasibility and effectiveness of our method.
