Abstract(in English) Digital broadcasting has enabled us to use the broadcasting for database access. We have studied a popularity-based TV program scheduling system to shorten the access time. This paper describes the scheduling system based on a hierarchical broadcasting system and its formal model. The paper first describes the contents popularity probability model for each area. It then covers the flow in which the requests for the contents are processed as the total system model. It also explains the local site cache mode.
