| Abstract(in English) | This paper describes the result of the study on user retrieval behavior by analysing WWW access log. Retrieval behavior is divided into "starting retrieval, " "entering keywords, " "submitting retrieval, " and "retrieval finishing." WWW access logs are divided into sessions by the appearance of "submitting retrieval." We analyzed the use of the system and the user's retrieval behavior from the sessions. The characteristic of the user's keyword entering method and the patterns of user's behavior are described. |
