Abstract(in English)	As four issues in the current commercial DBMS, Web-based system, Java, rich content data and a large data volume are raised. Scalability in a rapid growth, an ease of application building, and security are required in Web-based system. Adopting in Java environment as a de-facto standard is also important. An uniform control of rich content data including multi-media data is necessary for integrated database in a virtual enterprise. Along with large hardware environment, terabyte amount of data needs to be handled efficiently. Informix Dynamic Server, Object Relational DBMS, satisfies those requirements as an integrated DBMS in a virtual enterprise.
