| Abstract(in English) | Integration of heterogeneous information sources has been one of the most important issues in recent advanced application environments. Structured documents have been recognized as important information sources recently. We are developing an information integration system for relational databases. Structured document repositories, and the World Wide Web. Mediator is the most important module in the integration system. It provides the integrated schema and operations, and plays an important role in communication among software modules in the system. This paper presents the basic design of a prototype system. In particular, design and implementation of the mediator is explained in details. |
