Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In molecular biology, methods of extracting related entries from multiple databases are required because molecular biology databases are independently managed for different areas or different purposes. In this paper, we propose a new method for retrieving relevant entries among those databases using word cooccurrence frequency and word importance in specific fields. In our method, the keywords used for word weighting can be obtained only from important fields. Moreover, the word importance is obtained by considering weights of such fields. According to our prototype system evaluation, our method has proved to be effective in improving recall of related entries extraction.
