Scene Identification Mechanism for Understanding Context by Associative Memory with Pictorial Dictionary

Abstract(in English) Our brains seem to be disambiguating words by decidiiag each meaning with accompaning words in communicating processes.This brain function is also necessary to intelligent database retrieval systems with context understanding ability.Associative inference, proposed for this aim,is interpreted as one of statistical decision processes to maximize a evaluation value of objective function in the level of computational theory.However,the objective function is unknown to the system in learning phase.We use a linear approximating function of the Bayes discrimination for the purpose of taking a maximum-likelihood solution with least number of input keys in earier phase.The logical objective function checks it and give negative feedback to the associative memory.We also constructed an scene identification sysytem based on a pictorial dictionary as an module of natural language processing systems and data-base retrival systems.It has an identification ability of 90% ratio by preserving four previously appeared words as context.
