| Abstract(in English) | Signature file is an access method designed for full text retrieval.For this access method,there are some discussions on performance analysis and experimental implementation in the literature.However,there are few implementation embedded into a DBMS for practical use. Lately,the authors have implemented a signature file access method and embedded it into the extended relational DBMS G-BASE.To the best of the authors′ knowledge,this is the first experience of implementation of this access method embedded in a commercial DBMS product. This paper describes the implementation technique of the signature file access method embedded into G-BASE. |
