| Abstract(in English) | Multimedia Services such as Video on demand and Home shopping are expected to be provided via a wide area ATM network in future. From the customer′s viewpoint,it will be important that he, she ca n easily select his/her favorite service from any service providers easily and that he/she can subscribe the multimedia service,check his/her service charge and make complaints on service status by using only his/her TV terminal set.This paper proposes a concept on multimedia service operation and management to meet the above requirements,and discussesfunctional requirements for service operation and management systems. |
