| Abstract(in English) | Each mainframe maker has released parallel computers for business with dozens or hundreds of CPUs that are not very fast but inexpensive respectively.Software AG has proceeded with development of ADABAS PLEX that takes advantage of such parallel computers as much as possible.Software AG has expanded functionality of ADABAS according to progress of efficiency and functions of hardware and software. This paper describes the background of development particularly for multiple processing in ADABAS,outline of ADABAS SMP that is a function running on multiple processors,and ADABAS PLEX that we are developing now and will run on IBM Parallel Sysplex. |
