| Abstract(in English) | There are two types of parallelism in database computing;inter- transaction parallelism and intratransaction parallelism.As the demand for complex query processing grows,exploiting intra- transaction parallelism becomes increasingly attractive.In this paper,we describe a trend in the database market.which drives us toward parallel database processing,and key issues in parallel DBMS development We also show our recent technical development in parallel search and parallel sorting. |
