Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) On a personal computing environment, we often use multiple applications to produce a document. On the process of document generation, user uses data file. pipe, or clipboard to transfer data from an application program to another. On such a data transferring, sometimes the user aware operation becomes harmful. On this paper, we will introduce an file system extension to reduce the user operations for transferring data between applications by using 'file system calls.' On this system, we can associate program invocation, finalize program, data transfer, data output, and so on to Open. Close. Read. Write, and other system I/O calls.
