| 抄録(和) | 本研究は時間的マルチメディアオブジェクトをその時間的関連と共に格納・検索・編集できるオブジェクト指向マルチメディアデータベース管理システムOMEGAを構築することを目的とする。そのため、オブジェクト参照法を拡張し、オブジェクト間の関連を明示的に表現できるデータベース構成法を提案する。本稿では、時間的マルチメディアデータを同期的に扱うために、その時間的粒度を揃えた上で時間的マルチメディアオブジェクトを閉時間区間オブジェクトとして捉え、時間的マルチメディアオブジェクト間の時間的関連の定義と管理を考察し、その実装法について議論する。 |
| 抄録(英) | OMEGA is an object-oriented multimedia database management system which has been under development at the University of Library and Information Science. This paper reports the OMEGA temporal object model and its implementation. The paper is organized as follows : The first section introduces the major concepts underlying OMEGA. Section 2 presents the OMEGA data model and the temporal multimedia objects. Section 3 shows a way of expressing temporal multimedia objects. Section 4 discusses how to represent and manage relationships among temporal multimedia objects. Section 6 reports a part of the current implementation of temporal OMEGA system. Summary is given in section 7. |
