A proposal of data model for motion image media

Abstract(in English) A data model for motion image media is proposed.The data structure of video images is managed as the physical structure based on static images and the logical structure based on the scenes.A video image is considered to be a set of scenes.The meaning of video images is expressed by scenes and the relations among them.There are four kinds of time in video images;the media time,the story time,the recording time and the playing time. Operations which are necessary for scene retrieval and editing along the time axis are proposed.Such a data structure makes it easier to retrieve motion images.
