| Abstract(in English) | This paper describes an Object Oriented Database Management System with emphasis on design and implementation.We have designed and constructed the system as a platform to study various object oriented systems or database systems.The DBMS manages the database objects such as classes or methods in an object oriented manner.In our DBMS,a databae is administrated using the class extension scheme.A self-contained database manipulation language is newly designed and implemented,and the way to process messages in a multi-client and multi-server environment is designed. One of the goals of our DBMS is to provide an efficient way of query processing utilizing concurrent retrieval of sub-databases distributed across the machines on a network. |
