Performance evaluation of disk arrays

Abstract(in English) We evaluated the performance of several configurations of disk array against several access conditions such as sequential access and random access.As a result,we show advantage of RAID-3 against the sequential access,and the effect of cache for RAID-5.Though RAID-5 has an issue that a disk failure causes performance degradation because of data reconstruction,our evaluation showed that cache and dual controller improved the performance in the case of disk failure.
