Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents the implementation of an active database system supporting ECA architecture. The model is based on the CCS process algebra. Process algebra is used for representing events and concurrent processing of active rules. Complex representations of events are supported using the process algebra. Operators for constructing complex events and parallel operations are defined. Equivalence is used for verifing the behavior of the database rules. Coupling modes are supported as macros of the operations of the algebra. Also, these are provided as user programmable components. ECA-SQL is provided as an extension of the SQL. SQL representations are treated as processes and some transaction programming functions are extended. Web interface for the system is also provided.
